The Web Bot Project

The Web Bot Project

The web bot project of halfpasthuman.com had been publishing reports since 2001 with most of the world unaware of the project until The History Channel produced a documentary in 2006 entitled, Doomsday 2012: The End of Days. In the video, George Ure explains how the web bot software works, telling of several accurate predictions and the related incidents. The narrator concludes the segment (in the video, below) with the statement, "According to the web bots, a series of catastrophes reaches its peak in the year 2012."

Awareness of the project took another leap forward when the authors were interviewed by George Noory on Coast to Coast AM. The following clip is from the July 2007 interview, and focuses on 2012:

On November 3, 2009, the web bots' chief time monk, clif, was on internet radio via the Jeff Rense program. All videos with the audio seem to have been pulled from YouTube, but the program is archived at the Rense web site, available to paid subscribers. Show notes are still posted at the HPH web site, with information and drawings about our increasingly active sun and weakening magnetic field could combine to cause a pole reversal and crustal shift in 2012. A map showing where our new north and south poles are expected to be is about two-thirds down the page.

Another late 2009 word from the individuals associated with the project appeared in the November 30, 2009, entry at George Ure's Urban Survival blog:

"If you have noticed that both Cliff and I are being really low key about the predictive linguistics project there's a reason for that...so much of what's ahead over the next three years (1117 days) is grim beyond words - we ought to get to a point in either 2010 or 2011 that it won't matter and systemic collapse takes over - making the holding of any assets other than basics (grub, gold, gun, garden) - could become pointless."

1,117 days after November 30, 2009, is December 21, 2012.

How accurate are the predictions?

The publishers of the reports claim the following hits:

  • September 11 attacks (shown in the reports as an 'emotional release' that would change the way we live in America)
  • American Airlines Flight 587
  • Space Shuttle Columbia disaster
  • Northeast Blackout of 2003
  • 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake
  • Hurricane Katrina
  • Dick Cheney hunting incident

Detractors say that some of these 'hits' are questionable stretching of the report language to fit an event, and additionally point out a number of 'misses' that include:

  • An 'emotional release' on October 7, 2008 greater than September 11, 2001.
  • A massive earthquake in the Pacific Northwest on 12 December 2008.
  • A global coastal event in mid-2009, urging people to stay away from the coasts.
  • A complete collapse of the US dollar beginning in 2009.
  • A catastrophe beginning on October 25, 2009, which would send the Obama administration into chaos ten days later.

Conclusions

The above comparison of hits vs. misses is provided so that the reader may be advised as mention of what the reports say is made part of articles throughout this web site. The track record of the bots appears to be weakening as the project grows in popularity. The authors claim to be keeping up with the software to compensate for the increasing occurrence of their own report data on the same internet the bots crawl for language data, but the huge scare last spring when part five of ALTA 1309 came out with predictions for fall 2009 of long trains of U. S. Army dead due to Israel striking Iran was such a huge miss that one has to wonder how well they've done at that.

The lead programmer of the web bot project refers to a consciousness known to him as Universe. This force compels him to work on the project. It drives him and pulls him. He felt a release from the project in May 2009, which is documented at Ure's May 5, 2009 blog post saying, in part:

"Finally, apparently, I have accomplished what universe wanted with the web bot project and now can find release and relief from the burdens attached to it. Now it is time for us here at HPH to harmonize with what has been revealed within our work over these last years and to participate actively, perhaps even joyously, but certainly at least, positively, in the [transformation] wave that is sweeping through our galaxy."

Maybe it was time then to stop, but other entities persuaded him to continue. It is possible to get our spiritual signals crossed when someone tells us that it will really do the world some good if we make a certain choice. We are trapped in these limiting and easily influenced vessels of clay, and no matter how spiritually attuned someone is believed to be, it is possible to have purely human motives, even good ones.

It is also possible that when the force he knows as Universe issued the stop order, another consciousness identifying itself as Universe but not being the same stepped in. This is a stretch, but it is entirely possible, for any spirit coming upon a vacuum will fill it. That's not the part that is a stretch. The part that is a stretch is that the spirit known as Universe prior to this break was an emissary of Truth. Not because he is a bad man, but because he seems so hardened to the Source of all Truth that it would follow that he could not receive it. However, there was some truth given in the September 2008 interview on Coast to Coast AM that stood out when we heard it:

There are some very hopeful signs in that Universe favors humans. We have indications that humans will be around for a long time. Just not necessarily very good for any particular humans that happen to be living at the moment. . . . I find it comforting that humans are favored by Universe. For whatever reason, Universe thinks that's valuable . . . and it is that value that will carry forward in time.

Beyond the bots

The remaining question is whether technology inherently contains breadcrumbs of consciousness from the past or future that will be found as we move through the various pitfalls of entry into the age that is coming. There is a new spiritual awareness being opened onto the inhabitants of the earth. Will technology tap into information and consciousness as it evolves into being a form of independent intelligence? Are we seeing the beginnings of that now in programs like the web bots?

Yes, we are. We may not yet be able to understand it, but we are seeing the beginnings of consciousness streaming through technology and this future-telling is only a hint of its potential. This will continue to increase until in some form, biology and technology merge. It is not likely that anything like the singularity will overcome the whole of humanity, but something akin to it will be reached by some, maybe just a handful, and then things get interesting.

Just asking a question here. Could "the singularity" spoken about be when the majority of people take "the mark", one of the trade-offs for an eternity in hell being a three and a half year of "apparent" super-human intelligence, given by technology?

What IF the mark does cause the brain to open up the latent 90% currently unused? It opens up a "satanic inteligence" that forever precludes one repenting and coming to Lord Jesus Christ, hence forbidden by Almighty God.

I have read many of the web bot reports. Unfortunately the creator of it, Cliff, seems to have an intense hatred of Christianity, given to him by the Satanic Matrix he is emeshed in. I am actively praying for his conversion. May the Holy Spirit come upon him and deliver him from his pride and satanic influence and let him KNOW Jesus is Lord.

The reports, in part, seem to be presaging the upcoming events of the tribulation with a bunch of deception thrown in.

As an aside, here is an article speculating on the image of the beast. Not that I agree with it in toto. Just saying its interesting.

HeLives, I very much agree that the singularity has to do with all coming under some sort of control or change ('transformation') under the beast and by taking its mark. I admit to not understanding well and not doing sufficient research to come up to speed enough to write on it, but when I hear or read of it from a so-called expert, that is what it sounds like to me -- an advance in physiology that allows a leap in 'evolution' for all of humankind.

Except, of course, for those who cannot or will not make the leap. Lots of new ager talk about that, going back to Edgar Cayce and his beliefs about the new age shift. They believe that those of us who stubbornly hold to prejudices (like the exclusive claims of Christ Jesus) will be 'left behind' but not in the way LaHaye and company portray it.

There is much satanic deception in the web bot reports, both because it is a method of seeking out information about the future outside of God and His Word, and because of the anti-God filter that the report's author uses to interpret the data. It is sad to see clif spend his talent and his ability to understand what is not seen the way he is doing it. He expects people to become more and more aware and awake as we approach the mystical 2012 date. Let's pray that his eyes are opened to the Truth of Jesus Christ.

Littlefish, thanks for answering. Yes, may Cliff come to the knowledge of the truth, the way, the truth and the life of Lord Jesus.

With regard to the singularity, Pastor Hoggard had this to say:

What is the Singularity?

Well, if anyone follows this web bot thing, I think it's clear they've jumped the shark.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_the_shark

Both the programmer and the publicist went to making more and more dire predictions to gain and hold the attention of readers who had realized most recent hot dates came to naught. Now, both are in over-drive and/or desperate denial.

The ones I really feel sorry for are his followers. Many of them considered this guy as a high priest of sorts, clinging to his every word, reading over one- or two-line email snippets looking for hints or clues of what he really means, what he wants to say but can't, etc. A lot of folks were really disillusioned and disheartened.

I invite anyone in the above situation to consider the claims of Christ Jesus in their historical context, upon which you will realize that He is exactly who He says He is, and will do what He says He will do. He will restore you to the Father. He will share your burdens, bring you inner peace. He will give you eternal life. He will never, ever leave you or forsake you, and never, ever will you find a lie in His mouth.

Only believe . . . http://needhim.org/

In total agreement about HPH blowing it on this last big go-boom date. Again we have the father of lies using someone up and spitting him or her out. Still the little liar might have left a breadcrumb or two for the discerning eye and spirit. This isn't about knowing the future to pinpoint a date or pin the tail on an antichrist but about getting a sense of what flavor is the deception that leads to the great deception and accompanying persecution of Christ's true church.

In that way let us recall that recent reports from that project wrote about discoveries in the earth that would cause man to rethink his origins. I posted today in another part of the forum here about a discovery in Israel that predates the Out of Africa theory. Ponder on this discovery, what it is and where it is, then the theory of dual fulfillment and deception that someone here proposes. I happen to know that this someone is working up a good piece about all that so I won't steal their thunder more than to say that this Israeli discovery has folded into it quite well. We are heading that way. Are you ready? Do you know Jesus? As Savior AND Lord?

Back to the topic of this thread, this should be the end of the web bot reports. Something about if what he said about this last go-boom date happened there would be none because the world would be such a mess, internet gone, money gone, food gone. But then he said that a couple other times and his credibility survived well enough to sell a few more volumes. I predict there will be more reports.

Folks are already claiming the Arizona shootings as the event predicted for January 8, and an emboldened bot team is planning another report run to be released on January 25. Apparently, the project still has loyal followers even after the November fiasco. Unbelievable. Rolling Eyes

I think theyd be done too but its weird. There was this astrologer or psychic on coast2coast and I went to his web site. He had predictions going back several years put up there and I couldnt believe how many of them were wrong and still some people believe in him. People will keep following the webbots the same way. Its sad.
